Nutreco has received an OPZuid grant to collaborate with Dutch dairy farmers on reducing nitrogen emissions. This funding enables the development of on-farm solutions fit for the Netherlands' environmentally demanding dairy sector, preparing us for future global challenges.

As emerging technologies and advances in animal nutrition bring more precision to livestock production, AgroCares and Trouw Nutrition, Nutreco’s livestock feed business, are pleased to announce the renewal of their NutriOpt On-site Adviser agreement.

Nutreco announces the appointment of Eduardo Lopes Alberto as CEO of Trouw Nutrition as of June 1, 2024. Eduardo Alberto replaces David Blakemore who will succeed Fulco van Lede as Nutreco CEO.

Trouw Nutrition and the Global Dairy Platform (GDP) have agreed to collaborate on a global pre-competitive Animal Nutrition Workstream to help support and guide research on innovative solutions to decarbonise the dairy sector. Developed as part of the Pathways to Dairy Net Zero (P2DNZ) initiative, the task force will provide leadership in the dairy nutrition space, focusing on opportunities to minimise the environmental impact of dairy production through innovative forage, feed and feeding developments and technologies. To launch this partnership, GDP and Trouw Nutrition will host two P2DNZ webinars on January 17.

We are pleased to announce that, effective January 2024, Eduardo Lopes Alberto is appointed VP Innovation and Research for Trouw Nutrition. In this role, Eduardo will continue to support the innovation agenda within Nutreco. He will be based in Switzerland and will report to David Blakemore, COO Livestock.
