Biography speaker Willem Cranenbroek
Director Public Affairs & Chain Sustainability Development | Vion Food Group
After earning a bachelor's degree in animal science and a master's in food quality management from Wageningen UR, Willem Cranenbroek began his career at Vion Food Group in 2007 as Group Quality Manager in the central Quality Assurance department. After over four years, he transitioned to the commercial side of the business, taking on roles such as Central Sales Manager, Manager of Back Office International, and Sales Manager for Japan. In 2019, he became General Manager of Vion's plant-based startup ‘ME-AT the alternative’ in Leeuwarden. Since January 2024, Willem has served as Director of Public Affairs and Chain Sustainability Development, allowing him to further contribute to the company's sustainability efforts.
