Sustainability Manager Ruminants | Trouw Nutrition

Liz Homer holds a BSc in Animal Science from the University of Nottingham and a PhD in Dairy Cow Physiology and Fertility. After completing her PhD, she worked as a postdoctoral scientist, focusing on oestrous detection, dairy cow nutrition, and methane reduction. Liz joined Trouw Nutrition GB in 2015 as Ruminant Technical Development Manager, linking R&D with practical solutions for customers and farms. She has played a key role in developing projects like the NutriOpt Dairy Model.

Currently, Liz leads the European team in driving sustainability for ruminants, focusing on reducing environmental impact at farm level and fostering partnerships across the supply chain for positive change.
