Eduardo Lopes Alberto announced as VP Innovation and Research for Trouw Nutrition

Nutreco announces today that Eduardo Lopes Alberto has been appointed VP Innovation and Research for Trouw Nutrition starting in January 2024.

Before joining Nutreco, Eduardo spent seven years at dsm-firmenich as Vice President - North America and most recently as their Vice President Global Innovation, Animal Nutrition and Health, where he focused on driving strategic investments and successful launches of innovative technologies and services worldwide.

Prior to joining dsm, Eduardo spent 16 years at Elanco Animal Health, with diverse global roles in marketing, sales and R&D and managing business operations in the USA, Asia and Latin America. Eduardo is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, holds an MBA from the University of São Paulo, Brazil and a specialised Postgraduate in Marketing from Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing (ESPM), Brazil. He also completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School.

In this role, Eduardo will be responsible for Global Innovation at Trouw Nutrition, with primary responsibility for ensuring the development and delivery of the global innovation agenda and stewarding the innovation investment. Eduardo will report to David Blakemore, CEO Trouw Nutrition.
